National Social Security Fund (NSSF)

Overview

National Social Security Fund (NSSF) was established under sub-decree to manage the protection of social security. It’s entitled to have social security service when workers contain contingencies such as old age, invalidity, fatality, work injury, or miscellaneous contingencies including diseases and maternity.

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has responsibility for providing basic social security to workers in the private sector. NSSF has registered the members, collected the contribution, managed the NSSF finance, and implemented and provided the benefits to the workers or beneficiaries.

This training program will provide the trainees a general understanding of the NSSF’s aspects, the registration process of Enterprises and Workers /Employees in NSSF, and the scope of the occupation risk and health care scheme which will be covered by the NSSF as well as the objective, implementation, scope and benefits of pension.

Objective

This training program aims to provide the trainees a general understating of the NSSF’s aspects, the registration process of Enterprises and Workers /Employees in NSSF, and the scope of the occupation risk and health care scheme that will be covered by the NSSF. The program will also introduce the objective, implementation, scope, and benefits of pension. Therefore, upon completion of this training program, the trainees are expected to have the ability to:

  • Understand the scope and coverage of the National Social Security Fund
  • Understand the rate of contribution of each scheme under NSSF
  • Exercise general provision and implementation of each scheme
  • Apply the key techniques and methods to calculate and claim the benefits

The course content will cover a range of topics, including roles and responsibilities of NSSF, scope of its application, how to register, rate of contribution, and the benefits of each scheme. Especially, our training will cover the most important 4 modules:

  • Module 2: Employment Injury Scheme
  • Module 3: Health Insurance Scheme
  • Module 4: Pension Scheme

Fee Charged

The course fee is USD 170.00. It is inclusive of course materials, handouts, meals, refreshments, and certificates of completion but does exclude 10% of VAT amount.
